Voltech Group join hands with NanoPV, RGTC
Voltech Group, a leading service provider in the Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Systems globally, today entered into two major joint ventures with the US-based NanoPV and Rank General Trading and Contracting Company (RGTC), Kuwait, for expanding its global business base.
Voltech’s joint venture with Nano PV would help it to venture into Solar Energy sector and to expand its base to US under the JV 'NanoPV-Voltech Solar India Private Limited- NVSIPL.' Under the agreement, NanoPV would transfer the technology and knowledge of manufacturing thin Film Silicon Solar Panels to NVSIPL in a phased manner, further enabling NVPSIL to manufacture Solar panels in India of its own.
A new plant to manufacture 10 MW solar panel will be established in Tamil Nadu, Voltech Group CMD M Umapathi told reporters here.
Describing the JVs as a milestone, he said ''we are witnessing strong growth momentum for Indian products in international market and for Solar Energy in India. With these JVs, the company would be able to market its production directly to international market and can manufacture Solar Panels of its own in India.'' ''The venture with NanoPV will be a big breakthrough for the company to enter into Solar Power Industry. With the supply of latest technologies by our new partner, the company can produce high unit power generating Solar Panels that cause no harm to the environment'', he added.
Mr Umapathy said the JV with RGTC would provide an opportunity to trade its product and services at Kuwait directly.
''One step further to exports, Voltech will have its direct presence in international market now. Voltech looks forward to create an employment opportunities for its trained Indian engineers in Kuwait through this joint venture'', he added.
